Prayer to Saint Andrew
O Glorious Saint Andrew, you were the first to recognize and follow the Lamb of God. With your friend Saint John you remained with Jesus for that first day, for your entire life, and now throughout eternity. As you led your brother Saint Peter to Christ and many
others after him, draw us also to him. Teach us to lead others to Christ solely out of love for him and dedication in his service.
Help us to learn the lesson of the Cross and to carry our daily crosses without complaint so that they may carry us to Jesus. Amen. |

Prayer to Saint Anne
Good Saint Anne, you were especially favored by God to be the mother of the most holy Virgin Mary, the Mother of our Savior.
By your power with your most pure daughter and with her divine Son, kindly obtain for us the grace and the favor we now seek.
Please secure for us also forgiveness of our past sins, the strength to perform faithfully our daily duties and the help we need to persevere in the love of Jesus and Mary. Amen. |

Prayer to Saint Anthony of Padua
Dear Saint Anthony, you are the patron of the poor and the helper of all who seek lost articles. Help me to find the object I have lost
so that I will be able to make better use of the time I will gain for God's greater honor and glory. Grant your gracious aid to all people who seek what they have lost - especially those who seek to regain God's grace. Amen. |

Prayer to Saint Barbara
O Holy Saint Barbara, through your inspiration, intercession, and by your example of courage, keep me chaste,
fervent and always ready to do God's Will. Please help us by your prayers. Amen
Reflection: Pray often to be protected from a sudden and unprovoked death; and, above all, that you may be strengthened by the
Holy Viaticum against the dangers of your final hour. |

Prayer to Saint Benedict
Admirable Saint and Doctor of Humility, you practiced what you taught, assiduously praying for God's glory
and lovingly fulfilling all work for God and the benefit of all human beings.
You know the many physical dangers that surround us today, often caused or occasioned by human inventions.
Guard us against poisoning of the body as well as of mind and soul, and thus be truly a "Blessed" one for us. Amen. |

Prayer to Saint Brendan
Dear Saint, to mention your name is to recall much travelling. It was in relation to voyages that
you emerged as a popular Saint. The Irish became great travelers thus spreading their faith everywhere.
Protect not only mariners but all who go down to the sea in ships. Amen. |

Prayer to Saint Camillus of Lellis
Most wonderful Saint, your compassion for the sick and the dying led you to found the Servants of the Sick.
As the Patron of nurses and hospital workers, infuse in them your compassionate spirit. Make hospitals resemble the inn
in Christ's Parable to which the Good Samaritan brought the wounded man saying:
"Take care of him and I willrepay you for it." Amen. |

Reflections by Saint Catherine of Genoa
Reflection - The constant thought of purgatory will help us not only to escape its dreadful pains,
but also to avoid the least imperfection which hinders our approach to God. Reflection ~ If men only knew in what
manner Our Lord will recompense in the other world the good we do here, our understanding, our memory and our
will would be occupied only with good works, no matter what it might cost to perform them.

Prayer of Saint Catherine LaBoure
Whenever I go to the chapel, I put myself in the presence of our good Lord, and I say to him, "Lord, I am here. Tell me what you
would have me do." If he gives me some task, I am content and I thank him. If he gives me nothing, I still thank him since I do not
deserve to receive anything more than that. And then, I tell God everything that is in my heart. I tell him about my pains and my joys,
and then I listen. If you listen, God will also speak to you, for with the good Lord, you have to both speak and listen.
God always speaks to you when you approach him plainly and simply. |
